Hello again and Happy New Year!These illustrations are based on three short stories from The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter. Although the title sounds a bit wrong it's a really interesting book, macabre and twisted-just how I like 'em. I've been switching between it and this book-a very creepy combination, obviously turning over NO new leaves in 2012.
I used one pen and one (almost empty) pot of indian ink for all three. It was a nice challenge to strip it down to the bare essentials and avoid using a computer as much as humanly possible.
