I'm working on a commission based around the 20's and the Art Deco period at the moment. These are just a few preliminary sketches. I love everything about the 1920's, the architecture, the fashion.....the banana dance. This job has come along at an appropriate time seeing as the trailer for the depressingly flashy looking 3D (!?) film adaptation of the Great Gatsby was just released, nothing screams Fitzgerald like a bit of Kanye West.
Oh very lovely. I'm looking for 1920's inspiration for a wedding so thanks for helping out! I'm looking forward to see the finished work.
