Carmilla

Before Dracula, before Buffy and True Blood and sparkly Robert Pattinson there was Carmilla. It's a great piece of Gothic Fiction, I happen to share a name with the narrator, which always helps.

At it's core it's a tale concerning the sort of obsessive friendships that girls often form....except with neck wounds...and mysterious deaths....and strong lesbian undertones.
