Tower Hill

Practicing drawing on windows/glass in preparation for some live drawing I'm doing at Zizzi Tower Hill from tomorrow until Thursday 2nd. Have also succeeded in freaking out my next door neighbour who thinks I'm a peeping Tom(asina?)

I had the urge to punch a lot of people in the face today. Then a workmate showed me this. Now everything is right with the world again.

Hello again and Happy New Year!

These illustrations are based on three short stories from The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter. Although the title sounds a bit wrong it's a really interesting book, macabre and twisted-just how I like 'em. I've been switching between it and this book-a very creepy combination, obviously turning over NO new leaves in 2012.

I used one pen and one (almost empty) pot of indian ink for all three. It was a nice challenge to strip it down to the bare essentials and avoid using a computer as much as humanly possible.
