At home on a Saturday night so I've decided to try out some illustration stuff which may or may not go horribly wrong like the social pariah I am!

Zizzi O2 Arena
A short while back I had the pleasure of working with Zizzi once again when I was asked to paint two walls in their newly refurbished branch in The O2, North Greenwich. The mural design was based on the Art Deco influences throughout the arena, referencing 1920's music halls, jazz bands and dance styles.
It was a bit of a challenge to work around the bronze mirror and shelving on both walls. I used black pen to continue the illustration over the mirror, unfortunately the lighting in this venue is minimal so the camera doesn't quite pick it up. It was a lot of fun working on a character heavy piece and delving into some 1920's culture!

Trouser suits
Last week's Stella column was based on trouser suits, so I got to illustrate some 1970's style headache inducing patterns courtesy of Prada!

I really enjoyed drawing the bits and pieces in the black and white food illustrations below-so I made some faux food labels!

Stella Magazine
Since March this year I've been contributing a weekly illustration to Stella magazine, the Sunday Telegraph's lifestyle supplement. The above images have accompanied Kate Finnigan's biweekly Style Maven column (Art Directed by Jason Morris).
I'm going to start posting bits and pieces that have already appeared in print as well as some progress shots on my tumblr. These drawings begin life as A3 illustrations and are shrunk waaay down so it'll be nice to have people see the detail!
